Two Water Damage Disasters in One Day for a Local School

SERVPRO of Kennett Square/Oxford offers immediate assistance to schools, businesses and other facilities that have suffered from fire or water damage.  Our water cleanup and restoration team recently provided this emergency service to one of our local public schools in Landenberg.  A water line had burst on campus, causing extensive water damage in multiple areas including some of the classrooms.

In order to keep everything running smoothly for the students and faculty, we visited the institution immediately in order to perform the proper water remediation procedures.  Once we had successfully done so and the school was ready to open its doors again, we later received an additional call that evening for sewage damage.

The main sewer line had malfunctioned and leaked 15-20 gallons of sewage into the building.  Our team quickly coordinated a crew to visit the property once again and extract all signs of the contaminated water from the premises.
